We saw the video “The Deep Dive” in which we saw a new approach that IDEO took with things that were being designed. “Fail often so that we can succeed sooner” is the quote from the movie and it makes sense because success has to be the result of failed attempts.
One of the things that I really remember was the video about the wheel chair type machine that was supposed to be innovative for people who weren’t able to walk. It was able to stand on two wheels to allow easy access to higher items, and the wheels made it really easy to go on different terrain like sand. This was supposed to be such a great invention but it was a dead project because it was too much money to make and insurance companies did not want to support it.
The scavenger hunt also took place and was an easy assignment that gave me extra time to do nothing last Monday.
Last Wednesday’s class I missed, and I’ve been reading that many people enjoyed that class, so I wish that I had made it to class that day. Erica L said that “The last lecture was probably my favorite so far. We discussed creating environmentally friendly products. I really liked all the videos that we watched in class.
